TradeKopier vs Tradesyncer, Replikanto and Tradecopia

All four copy the trades of one leader account to several futures accounts. Two things differ: where they run and what they cost. TradeKopier is an add-on for NinjaTrader 8 that is currently free and does not limit the number of accounts. Tradesyncer and Tradecopia are monthly subscriptions from about $49. Replikanto is a paid add-on for NinjaTrader 8.

TradeKopier or Tradesyncer

Tradesyncer runs in the cloud. It copies between Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic without any program open on your computer. It costs $49, $99 or $149 per month depending on the connections and accounts you need, with a 7-day trial that requires a card.

TradeKopier is installed inside NinjaTrader 8 and copies between the accounts you have connected there. It is currently free and does not limit accounts or connections, but it needs NinjaTrader 8 open on your PC or VPS while you trade.

Tradesyncer fits if…you do not use NinjaTrader, or you want to copy without leaving any program running.

TradeKopier fits if…you already trade with NinjaTrader 8 and do not want to pay a monthly fee to copy.

TradeKopier or Replikanto

Both are add-ons for NinjaTrader 8 and are installed the same way. Replikanto, by FlowBots, is paid: its page lists licenses up to $399 depending on the option (one year or lifetime, for one or two computers) and a 7-day free trial. It can also copy to another computer over a local network or the internet; internet copying uses credits, with 20 included and more for a fee.

TradeKopier copies between the accounts connected to a single NinjaTrader 8, and you can place the trade on the leader account from another computer or from TradingView. It is currently free, and adds a daily loss limit and a daily profit target per account, a trading journal and an interface in Spanish and English.

Replikanto fits if…you want the follower accounts open on a different computer from the one with the leader, for example on a VPS.

TradeKopier fits if…all your accounts are in the same NinjaTrader 8 and you would rather not pay for a license.

TradeKopier or Tradecopia

Tradecopia has a desktop app for Windows and Mac ($49.99 per month) and two web versions ($79.99 and $149.99 per month). It allows unlimited accounts and copies between Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, TopstepX and TradingView.

TradeKopier only works with NinjaTrader 8, which is a Windows program. In exchange, it currently has no fee.

Tradecopia fits if…you use a Mac or platforms that do not go through NinjaTrader 8.

TradeKopier fits if…you trade on Windows with NinjaTrader 8.

Before using a copier on prop firm accounts

Each prop firm has its own rules on trade copiers and on trading several accounts at once. Some restrict or prohibit it. Check them before using any copier: complying with them is your responsibility.

Is there a free alternative to Tradesyncer or Replikanto?

If you trade with NinjaTrader 8, TradeKopier copies to several accounts with no fee at the moment. If you do not use NinjaTrader 8, it will not work for you: you need a service that supports your platform, such as Tradesyncer or Tradecopia.

Do I need a VPS to use TradeKopier?

It is not required. TradeKopier runs on your PC with NinjaTrader 8 open. A VPS is only useful if you want it running without your own computer on.

Does TradeKopier work with Tradovate, Rithmic or TradingView?

It works with the accounts you connect to NinjaTrader 8, such as Tradovate or Rithmic, depending on your broker or prop firm. You can also place the trade on the leader account from TradingView or from another computer: as long as NinjaTrader 8 and TradeKopier are open on one computer with that account connected, it is copied to the others.
