How to copy trades between Tradovate accounts

Connect Tradovate in NinjaTrader 8. Add your Tradovate connection so all your accounts appear in NinjaTrader.
Create a copy group in TradeKopier. Pick the leader account and the follower accounts, and set a size multiplier for each follower.
Trade the leader as usual. From the chart, the DOM or TradingView: entries, exits, stops and targets are copied to the followers.

Stops and targets on Tradovate

When you move or cancel a stop loss or a profit target on the leader account, TradeKopier sends the same change to every follower. Since version 12.1.2, each change is confirmed with the broker and retried automatically if it has not been applied, and you see a warning if it still fails. See the release notes →

Frequently asked questions

Can I copy trades between Tradovate accounts for free?

Yes. TradeKopier is currently free, with no credit card and no limit on accounts. It copies between the Tradovate accounts you have connected in NinjaTrader 8.

Do I need Tradovate API access?

No. TradeKopier runs inside NinjaTrader 8 and uses the connection NinjaTrader already has. You do not need API access, webhooks or a separate subscription.

Does it work with prop firm accounts on Tradovate?

It works with the accounts that appear in your NinjaTrader 8 through Tradovate, including prop firm accounts. Check your firm's own rules on trade copiers before you start.

Are stop loss and target changes copied?

Yes. When you move or cancel a stop or a target on the leader account, the change is sent to the follower accounts. Since version 12.1.2 each change is confirmed with the broker and retried automatically if needed.

Can I place the trades from TradingView?

Yes. If you trade the leader account from TradingView, the order reaches that account through the broker and TradeKopier copies it, as long as NinjaTrader 8 is open with the account connected.

Does NinjaTrader 8 need to be open?

Yes. TradeKopier is an add-on, not a cloud service: NinjaTrader 8 must be open on a Windows PC or Windows VPS while you trade.
