How to copy trades between Rithmic accounts

Connect Rithmic in NinjaTrader 8. Use the Rithmic connection your firm or broker gives you, so your accounts appear in NinjaTrader.
Create a copy group in TradeKopier. Pick the leader account and the follower accounts, and set a size multiplier for each follower.
Trade the leader as usual. Entries, exits, stops and targets are copied to the followers in real time, including when you move or cancel a stop or a target.

Risk controls for each account

Prop firm accounts usually have a daily loss limit. In TradeKopier you can set a daily loss limit and a daily profit target for each account: when one is reached, that account's positions are closed automatically and it can stay locked until the next day.

Frequently asked questions

Can I copy trades between Rithmic accounts for free?

Yes. TradeKopier is currently free, with no credit card and no limit on accounts. It copies between the Rithmic accounts you have connected in NinjaTrader 8.

Can I use it with Lucid Trading accounts?

Yes, as long as your Lucid accounts are connected to NinjaTrader 8, with the connection Lucid gives you, and appear in NinjaTrader's account list. Check your firm's own rules on trade copiers before you start.

Does it need its own connection to Rithmic?

No. TradeKopier uses the Rithmic connection that NinjaTrader 8 already has. It does not log in to Rithmic by itself.

Can each account trade a different size?

Yes. Each follower account has its own size multiplier, so you can copy 1 contract to one account and 2 to another.

What happens when an account reaches its daily loss limit?

TradeKopier closes that account's positions automatically and, if you choose, locks it until the next day. The other accounts keep copying.

Does NinjaTrader 8 need to be open?

Yes. NinjaTrader 8 must be open on a Windows PC or Windows VPS while you trade.
